Coldwater Canyon is a canyon running perpendicular to and over the central Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles County, California. The annual chili cook off held in Coldwater Canyon is an event for the benefit of St. Michael's School of Los Angeles. St. Michael's has provided a quality Catholic education in South L.A since 1903. St. Michael's is a small school with a family atmosphere that serves students in TK-8. Celebrities in the Los Angeles area have shown their support by signing autographs and sampling the chili.
