Today, it is typically a religious study meant for younger children attending church services. It is often a one-hour session in which bible passages are read and analyzed and traditional children's hymns such as "Jesus Loves Me" are sung. Although children study religious doctrine, Sunday School is rarely recognized as an educational institution. |
