Additional Information | Consumers Brewing Company was a pre-prohibition brewery in Erie, Pennslyvania. The company was only open for a few years near the turn of the 19th/20th century and was actually the result of a merger between many local brewing companies. Pennslyvania through the end of the 19th century saw a sharp rise is breweries, which by the 1930s had merged into but a few companies - most notably the Pittsburgh Brewing Company and the Indepedent Brewing Company of Pittsburgh. |
