Additional Information

One of the youngest teams in the NFL at the time, the 1992 Dallas Cowboy season was a franchise best with a 13-3 record. Losing only to the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams and Washington Redskins, they entered the play-offs as the number one seed in the National Football Conference East. One of the most memorable games of the post season was between the Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers, for the NFC conference championship. A failed 4th down conversion almost gave the game to the 49ers. The Cowboys were able to rally and hold on to the lead, scoring 13 points in the final quarter, winning the game and going on to play in Super Bowl XXVII at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena California on January 31st, 1993. The Cowboys dominated the Buffalo Bills, winning with a score of 52-17 and becoming the National Champions.
