Additional Information | Dick Tracy (originally Plainclothes Tracy), an intelligent and industrious police detective, was a character in the comic strip created by Chester Gould in the 1930s. In the storyline, Detective Tracy often uses forensic science, advanced gadgetry, and wits to solve mysteries and sometimes ends up in intense gun-fighting scenes in his relentless pursuits of criminals. The comic strip was distributed by the Chicago Tribune New York News Syndicate. |
