Additional Information | Ditka Dogs was a fast-food restaurant in Naperville, IL, a suburb of Chicago themed around the Chicago Bears and their larger-than-life former coach, Mike Ditka. The restaurant had paper bags with order forms attached; customers turned in the menu and the food was returned in the paper bags. The menu included hot dogs such as the "Ditka dog" as well as sandwiches, soups, and salads. The setting was the restaurant's most interesting feature: it was constructed like a football stadium with skyboxes (dining areas), a bottom section with green striped floor and tables, and more football-themed decor. As the restaurant's slogan says: "It’s not just a hot dog, it’s an attitude." |
