Additional Information | This button is a promotional item for the San Francisco Fog, a professional soccer team that played in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) for just one season, 1980-1981. The owner of the Detroit Lightning had moved his team to San Francisco in 1980, renaming them the Fog. The team played in the Cow Palace in Daly City, California, just south of San Francisco. After the 1980-1981 season, the team was moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where it became the Comets. The MISL existed from 1978-1992. |
