Snoopy's character enjoys role playing and creating alter egos for himself, such as Joe Cool, the Word War I Flying Ace, and a soldier in the French Foreign Legion. "Beau" may refer to the adventure novel Beau Geste by P.C. Wren which is about three English brothers who enlist in the French Foreign Legion. |
