Hillside High School is located in Hillside, New Jersey, and is the only public high school in its district. First built in 1940, the school became officially established as Hillside High in 1947, and was later added to in the 1950s and 1960s to accommodate the growing population of baby boomers. In 2014 the school was ranked 250th out of 339 New Jersey high schools.

G.O. is short for "General Organization", a student government club.
