Additional Information | Koss is an American stereo company founded in 1958 by John C. Koss, who introduced a stereo record player that included an innovative “privacy switch,” now commonly known as headphones. Koss partnered with engineer Martin Lange, Jr. to create the world’s first stereophones a.k.a. headphones that allowed for a more intimate music experience. Koss' advertisements promoted the privacy and freedom made possible through stereophones, by allowing two people to listen to different music simultaneously. Hence the slogan, “Live and Let Live.” |
