In the 1970’s Linda Susan Boreman became a successful pornographic film star under the stage name ‘Linda Lovelace’. Lovelace became a household name after starring in the most profitable pornographic film ever produced, Deep Throat. Later she would go on to star in another film, released on March 1, 1975, called Linda Lovelace For President where this button derives it’s meaning from. That film however was a flop and put Lovelace’s career on hiatus from which she was never able to recover her previous stardom.
