Manistique Ski Club

The button is an advertisement to promote winter tourism in Manistique, Michigan. Though there is no record of an official "ski club," Manistique is a small town ideal for recreational activities due to its geographical location and climate. Located on the western part of Michigan, the north side of Lake Michigan, Manistique receives an abundant amount of snow in the mountains and the trails are suitable for skiing. Manistique experienced an economic boom in the early 1900s due to its farmlands, lumber mills, metalwork which prompted an aspiration to attract visitors.
