Additional Information | Uncle Mistletoe was a popular character originally created by Johanna Osborne at Marshall Field and Company department store for a storefront Christmas display in 1946. His popularity led to TV and a segment called The Kindness Club. To join the club, children were encouraged to write in to the show describing one good deed they had done. Approximately 15,000 children wrote in, each receiving a Kindness Club button. |
