Additional Information | In 1910, the National Audubon Society opened their membership to children, allowing them to become junior members with the Audubon Society. With the goal of education in mind, the junior clubs taught conservation and nature studies to educate on the importance of birds. Junior birdwatchers were given a button to show that they were members; this one has a bluebird on the front. |
