Nucoa

Nucoa is a regional brand of margarine originally owned by Best Foods Inc. and commonly available in Arizona, California, and Nevada.  Advertisements for the product introducing the addition of Vitamin A were heavily campaigned during 1937, and a full-color print can be seen in the 10/30/37 edition of The Saturday Evening Post.  Margarine became popular in the U.S. during the Great Depression and again during WWII.
