Additional Information | Paul McCartney was the bass guitarist and singer for The Beatles in the 1960s. Perhaps his most popular song, and definitely his most covered song, is "Yesterday." When the band broke up in 1970, Paul formed the band Wings and their 1977 release "Mull of Kintyre" is one of the all-time best-selling singles in the UK. 32 of his songs have reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100, he's been in several film and television documentaries about The Beatles since the 1970s, and he's completed 16 solo tours since 1989. |
