| Additional Information | Snoopy is Charlie Brown's pet dog in the Peanuts comics by Charles M. Schulz. Though Snoopy's character was introduced in 1950, it was not until 1956 that the dog was illustrated as walking on his hind legs. Throughout the comics Snoopy pretends to be different world famous characters only to be taken down by his imaginary enemy, the Red Baron. Snoopy imagines he can speak, but only his friend and sidekick Woodstock can understand him. |
