Additional Information | Snoopy is Charlie Brown's pet dog in the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz. Snoopy was introduced in 1950 but was not drawn as walking on his hind legs until 1956. Typically, when Snoopy adorns sunglasses he is acting as his alter-ego "Joe Cool," as first shown in 1971. As Joe Cool, Snoopy pretends to be a college student simply by putting on a pair of sunglasses and leaning against a wall. |
