Additional Information | The Storz Brewery was founded in 1865 by Joseph Bauman in what is now Omaha, Nebraska. Originally known as the Columbia Brewing Company, the name was changed to Storz brewing company upon being purchased by Gottlieb Storz, a German immigrant, in 1884. The brewery was to become the largest brewery in Nebraska during World War II. In 1972 the brewery closed, but reopened its doors in 2013. |
