Additional Information | Susan Boyle is a Scottish singer who began her career as a contestant on Britain's Got Talent in 2009, after her audition in which she sang "I Dreamed a Dream" went viral. Though she did not win the competition, she went on to produce four successful albums. In her early 2010 appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Boyle talked about the pressure she felt after her overnight fame and promised that she, "is not now and never has been a member of the Crazy Celebrities Club." This came after reports of erratic behavior shortly following the end of Britain's Got Talent. She also performed her original song, "Who I Was Born To Be", and discussed the humbling success of her first album. |
