This button was designed by SO SO Happy, an accessory and apparel brand from the 2010s that specialized in hoodies and plushies featuring cute monster characters. The designs were reflective of popular youth fashion trends of the time such as the "scene" aesthetic which added a colorful neon twist to emo and punk looks. SO SO Happy often went beyond independent product sales to produce monster cartoons on YouTube and collaborate with other brands such as Jones Soda and celebrities like Actress Madison Pettis. Though the unicorn character doesn't appear in any of the brand's designs after 2011, SO SO Happy seems to have been active through 2017 before it stopped updating its social media accounts. The website where SO SO Happy sold their products is no longer operational.
