United Church of Christ Women in Mission

The United Church of Christ is a protestant branch of Christianity that often holds liberal views compared to other church organizations. Women play an important role in this religion. Women of the church are expected to perform duties for the church and are referred to as being "on mission". These missions include praying for missionaries, educating other women, seeking justice for the most vulnerable, traveling on global missions, and spreading the word of God.
