The Graphic Arts International union, founded in 1972, was a group which represented  printing workers in the United States. They worked with an array of mediums including bookbinding, advertisements, and lithographs. "Volunteers - Important People" is a phrase used to describe groups of volunteers working together for a common cause. It can be seen across a variety of organization, club, and agency types.
