The Palos Gun Club was originally founded on February 20, 1947 in the neighborhood of Palos Heights just outside Chicago, Illinois. The club moved to Frankfort in 1986 because of business development in the neighboring area that restricted shooting. The Palos Gun Club is now called the Frankfort Sportsman Club. The club is a member's only club that supports safe firearm use and shotgun sports. Today the club is affiliated with the National Rifle Association (NRA), the Amateur Trapshooting Association, the Illinois Trap Shooters Association and the National Sporting Clay Association (NSCA).

Additional Information

Chicago Ridge is a village located in Cook County in Illinois.  As of 2010, the population was 14, 305.  Its name is derived from ridges left behind when trainloads of dirt were brought out by the Wabash Railroad during construction of the Columbian Exposition of 1893.  A notable person hailing from Chicago Ridge is Tim Pyznarski, first baseman for the San Diego Padres.

This is a variation of the I heart NY logo that was created in 1977 by Milton Glaser for an ad campaign created by advertising agency Wells Rich Greene. The marketing campaign was sought by then-Deputy Commissioner William S. Doyle to increase tourism in the state of New York. The campaign was a wild success. The original sketch of the logo is permanently on display at the MOMA. The logo has become iconic in pop-culture and has been imitated in many forms around the world.
