The Bahamian Diet is a diet created by comedian and political activist, Dick Gregory. Gregory created it as a weight-loss plan for people. The Bahamian diet consisted of eating mostly raw fruits and vegetables with meal-replacement beverages from a mix called "Slim-Safe Bahamian Diet." The purpose of the diet is to reduce fat and cholesterol in one's daily intake.
