In 1959, Ford Motor Company acquired the licensing rights to the Peanuts for use in color TV commercials for their cars, including the Ford Falcon. The first Peanuts commercials aired shortly after, marking the first time the characters were animated for television. The Ford-Peanuts agreement ended in 1965, the same year that the first Peanuts television special, A Charlie Brown Christmas, aired.

Located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Big Powderhorn Mountain is part of the Gogebic mountain range, which was a chief source of iron ore until the 1920s. Today, Big Powderhorn Mountain is a 253-acre ski area that features two terrain parks, seven kilometers of groomed cross country ski trails, ten lifts, 33 downhill ski trails, and a  622 feet vertical drop. There is also a snow sports school, ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and lodging.

Harry Hiney started the Hiney Winery in 1969 and hosts the only wine in a fliptop can. It produces red Hiney, white Hiney, dry Hiney, Dierrere (sold in a bottle), and tiny Hiney. The company was a huge success and produced its own pamphlet on "101 Things To Do With Your Hiney" can after its use, such as keeping it as a pencil holder. This clever button reflects the humor of the establishment.

This is a promotional button used to advertise the restaurant Ed Debevic’s. Started in 1984, this retro-themed restaurant is located here in Chicago, IL. It was based on a pre-existing restaurant, Lill’s Homesick Diner in Tolooca, Illinois that existed during the 50s and 60s. Ed Debevic's is known for its servers, who, dress in flashy costumes and speak to the customers solely through snarky remarks. The servers are also known to drop their trays from time to time to preform a choreographed dance on their soda counters. The motto of Ed Debevic’s is “Eat and Get Out.”

Milad Oldsmobile-Chevrolet Inc. is a car dealership in Amherst, Ohio. The company was owned and operated by WWII veteran Milad Henry Abraham from 1952 to 1989. In 1966, his dealership of new and used cars became the first major business on Amherst’s sprawling Route 58. Abraham died in 2005.
