"I've been Snapple-ized," was a slogan used for the first and only Snapple convention in 1995. Its meaning is that the wearer has converted to a Snapple enthusiast from another beverage, such as Coke, Pepsi, or Arizona Tea. During the convention, Snapple, now a division of the Keurig Dr. Pepper company, rolled out new flavors (cider teas in apple pie, black cherry and peach melba), packaging and events like trivia contests, carnival games, and a talent show.

Located in Michigan, Mackinac Island is an island resort town which covers 3.8 square miles in Lake Huron. It is well-known for these horse drawn carriage "tours" that are the main source of transportation for both tourists and residents of the small island.

Mackinac Island Carriage Tours, Inc. was officially founded in 1948 by "the carriage men" -- those who had already been giving their own horse drawn carriage tours of the island since 1869. These men, led by their president, Thomas Chambers, successfully petitioned to ban cars from the island since they felt that motorized vehicles startled the horses. Since then, these carriage rides are the only way for tourists and residents to get around on the island, aside from bicycles. Their necessity to both visitors and natives has made the company the world's oldest "horse and buggy" service which currently offers approximately 100 carriages and over 400 horses to pull them with.

The Genesee Brewing Company, which was established in 1878, held a promotion for its light beer via the "Boo-ster" campaign during the Halloween season in 1991. Partnering with McCadam Distributing, the brewery’s mission was to raise money towards research for cystic fibrosis through both customer donations and portions of it's "Genny Light" beer sales. Vendors of the beer were given Halloween-themed displays and cards by McCadam Distributing to sell to customers for a minimum $1.00 donation which they could write their name on and have displayed on the walls of the bar or store where they made their contribution. These donations plus .10 from the sale of every case of Genny Light sold during the promotion were given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation towards research while the beer’s retailers earned free t-shirts and a chance to win a Florida vacation.
